Welcome to TVET Authority
The Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) is a State Corporation established under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Act, 2013 that was Publicized in a Special Issue of the Kenya Gazette Supplement No. 44 (Acts No. 29) on 25th January 2013 and commenced on 24th June 2013. The first TVETA Board was appointed on 9th May 2014 through a Gazette Notice No. 3134 and inaugurated on 4th June 2014. The mandate of TVETA is to coordinate and regulate TVET in Kenya through Registration, Licensing, Accreditation of institutions, programmes and trainers, and implementation of the TVET National Quality Assurance System for development of a competent work force.
Accreditation of Institutions, CBET Programmes, Assessment Centers, Trainers, Assessors and Verifiers
To fulfill our mandate, We wishes to advertise the following:
- Accreditation of TVET Institutions and Assessment Centers in Accordance with sections 18, 32 and 57 of TVET Act 2013
- Accreditation of Competence Based Education and Training (CBET) Programmes
- Registration and accreditation of Trainers in accordance with section 23 of the TVET Act, 2013
- Accreditation of Assessors and Verifiers under TVET Act, 2013
